		<description>If the devices are allowed to roam, then there is nothing at all stopping these devices from working in NZ.  One of the most beneficial aspects of the WCDMA technology is the widespread global roaming ability.  I suspect the challenges will be in copyrights.

While it is good to see the service potentially working in NZ, it does mean that Amazon takes the profits (or at least a portion of them) rather than a local publishing house.  This is the downside to a proprietary device and service.</description>

		<description>There is absolutely no way I will be purchasing a Kindle even if it does become available in New Zealand. Amazon&#039;s ability to delete books with no consultation, limited eBook format options, Amazon&#039;s eBook over-pricing and the Kindle&#039;s lack of space expansion are some of the reasons why I won&#039;t be purchasing a Kindle. I&#039;ll happily continue with my Palm T/X, although I would upgrade to a larger sized Palm if they ever decided to produce one - a slightly larger screen size is all I ask for!</description>
