Have a look at the listeners comments on the Kim Hill interview. Not particularly supportive of eBooks! http://www.radionz.co.nz/national/programmes/saturday/listener_feedback/the_future_of_the_book.

Hi Pat
Hashtags have been popularised by Twitter. Hashtags are a way to categorise Twitter posts, like tags in a blog, and you can filter posts so that you only see the ones with this tag imbedded. Posts ("Tweets") that include #nzdpf will be about the Future of the Book conference. This will allow you to follow the Twitter conversation. If you don't use Twitter, you can also follow hashtags at hashtags.org.
(BTW, "nzdpf" is based on "NZ Digital Publishing Forum", a slightly obscure tag I admit).
